Metal drilling services
At Fastener Innovation Technology, Inc. we offer a full range of metal drilling services, which enables us to recommend the most appropriate process to meet each client’s needs and not based on our own capabilities and availability. CNC water jet drilling or laser jet are low heat processes that remove the production of a heat affected zone, or HAZ. Meanwhile, electrical discharge machining – EDM –enables precise incisions to be drilled into deep cavities or complex internal recesses, while simple CNC drilling, offers highly repeatable, effective and accurate drilling capabilities. With a full spectrum of processes at our disposal, we will work with each client to determine the most appropriate process for their needs.

The clients’ needs won’t extend simply to the desired shape and form of the product; finish, strength and the cost of additional processes will also be considered. While some processes may cost slightly more than others, the savings that they yield in terms of highly accurate repeatability, and the improved finish from processes such as water jet, laser drilling and EDM, may make these processes more advantageous.
