Trained personnel perform the inspection function with the latest on inspection equipment. The Quality Assurance Department is charged by the President of F.I.T., Inc. with the responsibility of overseen the implementation and maintenance of the Quality Assurance System (QAS), SPC, ISO9001, Calibration, etc. to ensure the production of quality parts as a matter of course and not as eventualities.

Over 65 test methods, including many ASTM, NASM1312, customer-specific and special variations are used in the Testing Laboratory. The laboratory is accredited by NVLAP for all these test methods, which encompass several disciplines such as Mechanical test, metallographic analysis, metallurgical, environmental and Non-Destructive Test. The laboratory is also used for engineering Research and Development of new fastener designs and variants. |
