 Master craftsmen form the core of the tool room personnel at F.I.T., Inc. The equipment used includes EDM machines for part production and tool making. Fixtures for production and test, prototypes of new designs, installation tooling, critical modifications of existing tools, cutting tools as well as punches, dies for production are routinely produced with precise dimensions to allow for the processing of parts that meet the drawing requirements from the start. The use of carbide and specialty steels to make the tools for manufacturing ensures the achievement of longer productive life of the tools and the dimensional consistency of the product. |
