 HARDNESS TESTING: Superficial, transverse, and longitudinal hardness is performed using a computer-controlled unit capable of printing out the results and providing statistical data. Several other hardness testers are used to run routine checks in production parts, tooling, fixtures and for heat-treat verification. Micro-hardness tests are conducted routinely in equipment provided for the purpose. All units are maintained in calibration and daily checks performed using hardness test blocks as required. |
