 For many years, F.I.T., Inc.’s engineering staff has been assisting our customers to design, prototype, test and evaluate new fasteners or evolutionary derivatives of existing versions. Research and Development are not buzz words at F.I.T., Inc.; R & D is routinely conducted and designs are developed and refined for customer use with increasing regularity. F.I.T., Inc.’s Engineering Department personnel are experts in concurrent engineering and fast computer aided design.
This detailed focus in creativity and on good engineering has made it possible for F.I.T., Inc.-designed and built parts to be placed on many demanding applications, such as the International Space Station, satellites, the Mars Lander, etc. as well as commercial and military aircraft’s avionics special designs including multiple reusability, self-locking, tension or shear carrying fastening systems. |
