(FIT) we are all too aware that an engine is only as safe as its weakest component. As such, the quality and integrity of every component part must be assured. Likewise, a product is only as strong as its weakest characteristic; a part may be precision made using the best quality materials, but if it hasn’t been finished to a high standard, it will not meet the necessary standards. While many aerospace parts manufacturers opt to outsource product finishing and quality assurance, at FIT, we undertake a full complement of finishing services in house. This enables us to ensure the quality of the final product will delivering time and cost savings to our clients.

By utilizing a Quality Engineering approach, our technicians inspect and test products at every stage of the manufacturing process. This helps us to identify and rectify anomalies as early as possible, preventing the development of more significant problems while minimizing waste and reducing stoppage time. Our inspection and mechanical testing services are complemented by state of the art, in-house inspection equipment, which allows us to fully and efficiently inspect products before they leave our facilities.
